The Arctic Dragon is a huge dragon, larger the most, and dwells in the frigid arctic regions. This mighty beast feeds on just about whatever meat it can get at the time, preferring bears, some large cats, and the larger sea lions. The Arctic has been known to fish for Orca on occasion, but its rare. Their coloring changes from season to season. This image is during the winter months, when the skin in white on top, and a light blue along the belly. The webbing in the wings are covered with a network of fine veins, and turns black in order to absorb what little sun there is, converting the heat to energy. The males have a stretch of fur running down the length of their back, used to protect their spine, from both the cold, and other males. It is a good source of their age, as it never sheds, and will continue to grow through its life.
